There are many charities serving a very limited number of Gold Star families. This is a good thing, as Gold Star families are receiving the attention that they deserve. However, this has proved to be a challenge for us, as we have found it very difficult to locate and serve Gold Star families.
In order to better support our military community, we have shifted our focus to U.S. military personnel, veterans, and their spouses, that have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We believe that we can make a bigger impact by focusing on this large and underserved group.
We look forward to this new chapter in the story of Camp Eyas and hope that you will join us in our efforts.
