Scott Schlegel


      Scott is happy to volunteer as the Camp Eyas Treasurer.  He served in the United States Air Force for six years after graduating with honors from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.  During his time in the Air Force, he led a multitude of Information Technology and Intelligence Projects at Ramstein Air Base and Wright Patterson Air Force Base.  He possessed a Federal Top Secret Clearance at this time.  He has over 12 years of working intimately with financial markets in his personal time, and is the founder and author of his own Health and Finance website.  After leaving the Air Force, he has continued to develop project management skills as an APMP certified project manager delivering large scale turnarounds for Shell Gulf of Mexico assets.  He is accountable for all phases of project delivery to include development of work scope to efficient execution of thousands of man-hours of work and hundreds of thousands in expenditure per day in an effort to return value to Shell through minimization of down time.  His duties as Treasurer are described in our bylaws, and include maintaining the Camp Eyas book of accounts and deposit and disbursement of money and valuables.
